West Bengal PSC LDE Recruitment 2025: The Public Service Commission, West Bengal (WBPSC) invites applications for the Limited Departmental Examination (LDE) 2025 for promotion to the West Bengal Audit and Accounts Service (WBA&AS). Eligible government employees can apply online from 27th February 2025 to 13th March 2025.

Eligibility Criteria
- Employees of the Government of West Bengal with a minimum of 8 years of service in Pay Band 3 (₹7,100 – ₹37,600) with Grade Pay ₹3,600 (pre-revised) or Level 9 (₹28,900 – ₹74,500) as per WBS (ROPA) Rules, 2019.
- Candidates must obtain a certificate from their Head of Office confirming their service duration.
Selection Process
The selection process consists of:
- Written Examination (600 Marks)
- Personality Test (Interview) (50 Marks)
- Final Merit List based on Written + Interview Scores
Minimum Qualifying Marks:
- UR: 40%
- SC: 35%
- ST: 30%
Tie-Breaking Criteria: Preference will be given based on:
- Higher marks in the Personality Test
- Higher marks in key subject papers
- Higher age

Important Instructions
- No TA/DA will be provided for attending the exam or personality test.
- Candidates with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) may bring their own Scribe & receive compensatory time (20 min per hour).
- No provision for age relaxation as this is an internal promotional exam.
