Mizoram PSC JE Recruitment 2025: Mizoram Public Service Commission (MPSC) has released Advertisement No. 10 of 2024-2025 for the recruitment of 10 Junior Engineer (Civil) posts under the Irrigation & Water Resources (I&WR) Department on a regular basis. Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 35 years (as of the last date of application)
- Age Relaxation: As per Mizoram Govt. norms (Notification No.A-12011/1/2019-P&AR (GSW), dated 3.6.2019).
Educational Qualification
- High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC)
- 3-year Diploma in Agricultural Engineering or Civil Engineering from a Government-recognized institution.
Mizo Language Proficiency
- Candidates must qualify for the Mizo Language Proficiency Test (as per Mizoram Gazette Notification No.A-11019/1/2021-P&AR(GSW), dated 09.04.2024).
- Exemptions: Candidates who have studied Mizo subject in Class X (HSLC) or above.
Selection Process
The recruitment process consists of the following stages:
1. Written Examination (600 Marks)
- Paper-I: General English (100 Marks) – 3 Hours
- Paper-II: General Knowledge (MCQ) (100 Marks) – 2 Hours
- Paper-III: Technical Subject (MCQ) (200 Marks) – 2 Hours
- Paper-IV: Technical Subject (MCQ) (200 Marks) – 2 Hours
2. Personal Interview (80 Marks)
Total Marks: 680 Marks
Candidates must qualify for the written test to be eligible for the interview round.
Remuneration
Selected candidates will receive a Level-7 pay scale in the Mizoram Pay Matrix.
