Income Tax Dept Stenographer Recruitment 2025: The Income Tax Department, under the Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, Andhra Pradesh & Telangana, Hyderabad, has announced the recruitment for Stenographer Grade-I on a deputation basis. Eligible candidates are invited to apply.

Eligibility Criteria
Officers eligible to apply (on deputation basis):
- Holding an analogous post on a regular basis in the parent cadre/department.
- Having 10 years of regular service in Pay Level-4 (₹25,500 – ₹89,100) or equivalent.
Additional Notes:
- Departmental officers in the feeder category are not eligible for deputation.
- Deputation period: Maximum of 3 years.
- Maximum age limit: 56 years (as of the closing date of receipt of applications).
Selection Process
Candidates will be selected based on deputation rules as per Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances, and Pension O.M. guidelines.
Remuneration (Salary)
Selected candidates will receive a salary in Level-6 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix (₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400), along with usual allowances.

- No vigilance/disciplinary case certificate.
- No major/minor penalty certificate for the last 5 years.
- Deadline: Applications must reach the office within 60 days from the Employment News publication date.
