Allahabad High Court Research Associates Recruitment 2025: The High Court of Judicature at Allahabad has announced 36 vacancies for Research Associates on a contractual basis for a period of one year (extendable up to two years). The recruitment is open to fresh Law Graduates who have completed or will complete their 3-year or 5-year Law degree in 2025.
Selected candidates will be assigned research responsibilities under Hon’ble Judges at Allahabad and Lucknow benches. Interested candidates can apply online before 1st April 2025.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
- Fresh Law Graduates who have completed or will complete their 3-year or 5-year LL.B. degree in 2025 from a Bar Council of India (BCI) recognized college/university.
- Must have scored 55% or more marks in LL.B.
- Candidates awaiting final results can apply.
Age Limit:
- Minimum: 21 years
- Maximum: 26 years (as on 1st July 2025)
Other Requirements:
- No prior legal practice or engagement in any other profession/service.
- Working knowledge of computer applications (Word processing, data entry, etc.).
Selection Process
Selection is based on three stages with a total of 100 marks:
Weightage Marks (20%) – Based on Academic Performance & Co-curricular Activities

Restriction on Legal Practice
After completing tenure, a Research Associate cannot practice before the same Judge for 2 years.
