Eligibility Criteria
The selection and appointment of candidates will be governed by the Tribunal Reforms Act, 2021 & Tribunal (Conditions of Service) Rules, 2021.
Educational Qualification & Experience
- Candidates must meet the qualifications prescribed under the Tribunal Reforms Act, 2021 and the Tribunal (Conditions of Service) Rules, 2021.
- The eligibility criteria will be calculated as of the last date of application submission.
- Candidates holding or having held the post of Chairperson or Member of any Tribunal are eligible for re-appointment as per the Tribunal (Conditions of Service) Amendment Rules, 2023.
Selection Process
The selection process will be carried out by a Search-cum-Selection Committee constituted under the Tribunal Reforms Act, 2021.
- Scrutiny of Applications – The committee will evaluate candidates based on their qualifications and experience.
- Shortlisting – Candidates will be shortlisted for personal interaction.
- Final Selection – The overall evaluation will be based on qualifications, experience, and interaction performance.
Remuneration
- Pay will be regulated as per Rule 10(3) of the Tribunal (Conditions of Service) Rules, 2021 and DoPT’s OM No. 3/3/2016-Estt(Pay II) dated 01.05.2017.

Eligible and willing candidates should apply through the Registrar of the High Court/Ministry of Law and Justice.
Application must include:
- Bio-data (Annexure-I)
- Employer Certificate (Annexure-II)
- Photocopies of CR/APAR dossier (last five years, attested by a Group A officer)
- Cadre Clearance
- Integrity Certificate/Vigilance Clearance (Annexure-III)
- Details of major/minor penalties (last 10 years)
