Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification & Experience
- Assistant Professor:
- MD/MS/DNB/PhD in the concerned specialty.
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience after qualification.
- Senior Residency experience is mandatory.
- Associate Professor:
- MD/MS/DNB/PhD in the concerned specialty.
- Minimum 6 years of teaching experience, including 3 years as Assistant Professor.
- Medical Registration:
- Candidates must be registered with State Medical Register or National Medical Register (NMC/MCI).
- Selected candidates must register with UP Medical Council before joining.
- Age Limit:
- Maximum Age: 50 years (as of 30 March 2025).
- Relaxation: As per UP Government norms for SC/OBC candidates.
Selection Process
- Written Exam (For Assistant Professors only) – If applications exceed 10 per post.
- Teaching Skills Assessment & Interview – Shortlisted candidates will be informed via email.
Remuneration

- Additional Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA) applicable for medically qualified candidates.
- Promotion: Assistant Professors will move to Level 13 after 3 years of satisfactory service.
